Kelly

Here is a picture of my lovely little labby, Kelly! I took this picture six years  ago, when I was only in the fifth grade! Kelly was always so patient with me and I think she is what made me realize my love for photography. One day, I just picked up a camera and took some pictures of my animals because they were always my favorite to take pictures of and now look at where I am. I am very thankful for having such a great  dog and family pet.

Trip to North Carolina

Here is another beautiful picture of North Carolina! On the trip, we went hiking and took photos, obviously, and we also went canoeing in a nearby lake I guess you would call it. It was probably more of a pond, but it was relaxing. And no, that is not the "pond" in the picture. :)

Linville Falls, NC

In this photo, my family and I were visiting in North Carolina. We stayed in a log cabin near Linville Falls. The leaves were so beautiful, it was hard not to take a picture every second of the day! I absolutely loved the area and I hope we can visit there again sometime soon.

Cat Nap

Here are two of my foster kitties taking a cat nap! On the left is Spartacus and on the right is Liam. We named them after Greek and Irish names.

Shem Creek and the Bridge

I also took this picture on the tenth anniversary of 9/11. I went to Shem Creek and took a few pictures of the marsh and local restaurants. I love this one!

Murphy

One weekend I decided to take a whole bunch of pictures of my pets, so I took some of Murphy. That is about all there is to this picture. By the way, Murphy is officially my dog, as of yesterday! He is no longer my foster dog!

Shem Creek

This picture was taken at Shem Creek. There was so many pelicans there; there was one pretty much on every post. It was crazy!

Sadie

This is a picture of a foster dog that was at an event that I went to this past weekend. She was so sweet and her name was Sadie. She is with the same rescue that we foster Murphy from.

Murphy at Palmetto Island County Park

This is my foster dog named Murphy! He is a friendly boy who happens to think that he is a lap dog. Murphy is quite talkative when he believes that something needs to be said and he is a friend to everyone. I have had him for almost a year now and have grown quite attached to him. I really hope that we will get to keep him. In this picture, my family and I was at the dog park and Murphy, being an older Labrador Retriever, needed to take a break.

I took this photo while I was staying with my grandma in South Dakota. We had gone camping in her camper at a state park and visited the local town, Canton. It was a very small town, but it had a lot of history behind it. I really enjoyed spending my last summer with my grandma. We had a lot of fun together and I will never forget it.

Kelly

While I was outside with my family one fall day raking up leaves and planting mums, Kelly decided to strike a pose. She always enjoyed the outdoors; she would relax in the grass and take in her surroundings.

Kelly

I know everybody in the whole world thinks that their dog is the best dog ever, but guess what? They are wrong. Kelly, my Labrador Retriever/Australian Sheperd mix was the most amazing dog anybody could ever hope to have. She was so sweet and when I needed a shoulder to cry on, she was there for me. She was truly a man's best friend. I grew up with her and I wish that there was some way I could give back to her the way she gave to me.

Duncan

Cute, crazy, and curious are a few words to describe this little youngster. This is my fat cat as a little baby kitten about 5 years ago. I love him so much! Yes, I will admit, I am a crazy cat lady.

My Sweet Boy

I took this photo probably about five years ago, but I absolutely love it. Dandy (pictured above) is no longer alive, but will remain with me always. He had the goofiest personality and always brought a smile to my face.

I like to remember what I was doing when I was taking photographs, because what is the point of even taking pictures, if you don't remember what went on the day you took them? On the day I took this picture, it was the ten year anniversary of 9/11. I had gone to church with my family and then afterward we went and took pictures of local hangouts in Charleston. This is Mount Pleasant Waterfront Park. And yes, of course I took the picture.
